This blog is going to be used an example, as well as an inspirational tool for my Advanced Photo Imaging students. In an attempt to build individual portfolios that are focused and thematic, as well as conceptual, students will build a case study style photoblog. Students will use their blogs to express ideas and questions for and about this course. All completed assignments will be posted on their blogs and critiques, self evaluations, and peer evaluations will accompany those photographs. These young photographers will then use their blogs to make comments, suggestions and pass on information to each other, thus creating an on-line class forum. …stay tuned to see what topics, ideas, and themes these young photographers find in their viewfinders…
This course prepares the individual to apply advanced knowledge and skills to produce quality photographs through the use of digital photography. The course includes units of instruction in specialized camera and equipment operation and maintenance, applications to commercial and industrial needs and photography business operations.
